GIFTING LAND BACK TO NATURE
Join a community of like-minded people and businesses fighting to restore nature and fight biodiversity loss
GIFTING LAND BACK TO NATURE
Gifting land back to nature, to reverse biodiversity loss, help to prevent natural disasters and bring nature back into balance. By purchasing, protecting and caring for land, we’re able to return it to its rightful owner and bring more balance back. Let’s let nature bloom.
RESTORING BIODIVERSITY
Embrace the journey of regenerating land for wildlife. Regenerating land for wildlife means carefully restoring natural habitats. As we embrace vibrant biodiversity we can bring the balance of nature back to spaces it’s missing. We’re on a mission to make sure green space counts.
EDUCATING AND INSPIRING
Igniting a passion for nature and empowering people to take action towards reversing biodiversity loss is a part of instilling a greater sense of balance back to nature. By creating a vibrant community of nature-connected humans, we aim to educate, inspire and empower people to make a difference.
ENGLAND: A GREEN AND PLEASANT LAND…RIGHT?
England has lost over half of its biodiversity since the Industrial Revolution.
England is placed in the lowest 3% of global countries and territories for biodiversity intactness. With statistics like this, it’s clear that drastic action is needed and the below is what we do.
BUY LAND & GIFT IT TO NATURE
We use your sponsorship money to buy or support the purchase of marginal and low quality land and give it back to nature.
RESTORE & REGENERATE
Once land has been purchased, we work with expert advisors to ensure we restore land in a way that boosts local biodiverity the most.
EDUCATE & INSPIRE
We aim to educate the public, and inspire others to take empowered action and do what they can to help nature where they are.
THE GREAT HOPE RESERVE
We have coined our focus area 'The Great Hope Reserve' where our goal is to create a biodiversity restoration area between Bristol, Cheltenham and Swindon, from the Severn to the Thames.
WHERE’S DOES MY DONATION GO?
Donations we receive go to the obvious first, it sponsors the purchase of your desired sqft of land per month, but we do also have some overheads that also need to be taken care of.
As a supporter you sponsor a minimum of 5 sqft of land per month, this means that your contribution enables us (or our partners) to buy a minimum of 60 sqft of land per year to gift to nature.
Unfortunately as an organisation that receives money, we've got to pay for accounting/accounting software.
As an organisation that want to have a very large impact, inevitably there are people dedicating their time that need to be paid, so a small percentage of donations do go to staffing.
Other costs may include diesel, equipment, consultants fees, web hosting, domains, insurance and other unavoidable costs.
